Iraklis C. Livas, MD
“I grew up in an area where people needed healthcare, and this made me want to become a doctor. The prospect of being able to help improve the health and quality of life of patients seemed very rewarding to me on both a personal and professional level. I decided to specialize in allergy, asthma, and immunology because it involves working with patients of all ages and finding the solutions, they need to live normal, active lives without limitations. Today, I offer my patients over 16 years of clinical experience along with the advanced training they can feel confident in. This includes fellowship training and board certification in allergy, asthma, and immunology.

In his free time, Dr. Livas likes to be with his family. He enjoys traveling, hiking and playing soccer and basketball. Dr. Livas also donates his time and energy to the community. He performs complimentary allergy screenings and skin tests at health fairs and gives educational seminars at local schools.

Rose Pierson, APRN
Rose Pierson, APRN born and raised in the Bluegrass state and currently lives in Richmond, KY. She attended Eastern KY University and received her BA in 2003. She pursued further and received her Masters in Nursing in 2006. Rose is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Kent's Coalition and Nurse Practitioners.
Rose Pierson has 16 years of experience in Allergy and Asthma practice and has treated thousands of our patients. She has worked with Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, PSC, and Dr. Livas since 2006. She enjoys traveling and spending time at the lake with her family. Rose is an excellent addition to our practice.
Amanda Reid, APRN
Amanda Reid is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a lifetime resident of the Maysville/Flemingsburg area. Amanda received her BA from Morehead State University and her Master's in Science from Walden University in 2018.
Amanda is a dedicated Allergy Nurse Practitioner with 8+ years of experience in an Allergy and Asthma practice. She joined our Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology practice in July 2025 and has continually demonstrated her passion for helping patients breathe easier and live healthier lives. Amanda also brings a strong background in diagnosing and managing allergic conditions, asthma, and immunologic disorders. She provides compassionate, customized patient care tailored to each patient’s needs. Amanda has an approachable demeanor that creates a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment journey.
