Iraklis C. Livas, M.D.
Dr. Iraklis C. Livas finished medical school in his native country, Greece. He was honored with the Greek Ministry of Education Award for being in the top 5% of his class. He also received an outstanding achievement award in internal medicine.
Dr. Livas completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and he is board certified in internal medicine.
He completed his fellowship in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Livas has published several papers and book chapters during his academic training and has given numerous lectures regarding allergy and asthma.
Dr. Livas is a member of the American Medical Association, the Bluegrass Allergy Association and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
